The pet wall Team (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our") operates the pet wall mobile application. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and their pets through transparency and industry-standard security practices.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-powered pet health screening services.

To provide pet wall’s core services, we collect the following types of information:

1.1 Information You Provide Voluntarily

• Pet Profiles:Name, breed, age, gender, and weight.
• Pet Health Photos:Images of your pet’s eyes, ears, oral cavity, skin, and urine samples/test strips. These images are processed via AI to identify potential health risks.
• Account Credentials:Email address or third-party login identifiers (e.g., Apple ID, Google) used to sync your data across devices.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

To ensure app stability and comply with App Store guidelines, we collect:

• Device Identifiers:IDFA (for analytics/attribution), IDFV, and Device Tokens for push notifications.
• Technical Data:Operating system version, device model, IP address (for region-based service optimization), and crash logs.
• Camera Access:We only access your camera upon your explicit authorization to capture pet health photos.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your information for the following purposes:

• AI Analysis:Utilizing our secure sub-processor (GJPet AI Services) to analyze photos for potential health risks.
• Health Monitoring:Maintaining a historical record of your pet’s scans to track health trends.
• App Optimization:Using anonymized data to improve AI accuracy and fix technical bugs.
• Regulatory Compliance:To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Data Sharing and Sub-processors

3.1 AI Analysis (GJPet API)

Uploaded photos are transmitted to our AI partner, GJPet, for real-time analysis.

• Anonymization:Data transmitted to GJPet is stripped of your personal identity (e.g., your name and email are not shared).
• Strict Purpose:GJPet is contractually prohibited from using your photos for any purpose other than providing the analysis service.

3.2 Third-Party Service Providers

We use standard service providers (such as Firebase or Apple Analytics) to monitor app performance. We do not sell your personal information or pet health data to third-party data brokers or advertisers.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

• Retention Period:We retain pet profiles and health history as long as your account is active to provide consistent health tracking.
• Image Data:Uploaded photos are stored securely for the duration of your subscription to allow you to review historical scans.
• Account Deletion:You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. This can be done directly within the app via Settings > Account > Delete Account. Upon deletion, all personal information and pet images will be permanently removed from our active servers within 30 days.

5. Data Storage and International Transfers

We utilize secure global cloud infrastructure to store and process your information. Your data may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, or country. We implement industry-standard encryption (AES-256 for data at rest and SSL/TLS for data in transit) to ensure your data is treated securely regardless of its location.

pet wall is an AI-powered screening tool and NOT a medical diagnostic service. Results are provided for informational purposes only and do not replace professional veterinary advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical emergencies or diagnosis.
